SUMMER IN LAPLAND FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN

Summer in Lapland is very short but an adventure on itself for both the parents and the children.This quad bike - canoe tour is specially made for families with children. Very exciting activities and adventures like quad bike, canoe, fishing and animal watch in the wilderness of Swedish Lapland. Four days during which both children and adults will have a lot of fun. Experience the midnight sun. From end of May to end of July the sun never goes down. Daylight 24 hours a day. Our Bombardier quad bike have 2 seats.

Period: June - 15 Septembre6 days, 5 nights, 4 days activities for families with children (quad bike,canoe...)

Special requirements: a good physical condition and health, be able to swim and have a team spirit. 

Day 1: Arrival at Vilhelmina. Accommodation in double room at the Reindeer Lodge. Dinner. We serve a special dinner for the children. During the dinner briefing about the activities.

Day 2: Breakfast. Briefing how to drive a quad bike and the security rules. Guided quad bike tour in the forests and the wilderness of Lapland. Wilderness lunch prepared on a campfire. After the lunch we continue the tour. Arrival at the Reindeer Lodge in the late afternoon. Dinner in a teepee. Free evening. 

Day 3: Breakfast.Transfer for the activity. Get the equipment for the canoe tour. Let´s paddle after a short introduction ” what to do and not to do”. Lunch in the middle of  ” nowhere ” Of course there will be stop overs to take pictures. In the late afternoon arrival somewhere in the wilderness for the night in a teepee. Fishing. Enjoy a swim...Everybody helps to install the tent. Dinner prepared on a bonfire. We talk about the first canoe tour. Evening to listen to the silence of the wilderness of Swedish Lapland. 

Day 4: Breakfast. Today we paddle back direction the beach. Outdoors lunch. Arrival in the late afternoon at our base camp. Everybody will help the guide to carry the canoes and the equipment on the shore. Dinner in a teepee. Transfer to the accommodation. Free evening.

Day 5: Breakfast. On todays program visit of the Scandinavian Animal Park where you will see moose, reindeer, lynx, bear, wolves... Lunch at the park. Return at the Reindeer Lodge in the late afternoon. Dinner. Free evening.

Day 6: Breakfast and departure.

Price: 875 €/ adult. 475 €/child. Minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 4 persons.Children minimum of age 6 years and a maximum of 16 years.

Included: all the transfers for the activities, accommodation at the Reindeer Lodge and in tents, full board, the rent of the quad bike, the gasoline, the helmet for the adults, the rent of the canoe, the services of professional quad bike and canoe guides.

Not included: the flight ticket to/from Vilhelmina via Stockholm-Arlanda.
Travel/luggage/health/cancellation/repatriation insurances, beverages, the entrance fee for the Animal Park, car rental, gratuities for the guides, souvenirs and all items not mentioned in the program.

Items not to forget: backpack, water tight bag for the canoe tour, sleeping bag, light mattress, light shoes, binoculars, light gloves, rain clothes, flash light, warm jumper, a hat, sunglasses, sun protection cream, personal pharmacy if necessary etc...

Options:
Accommodation in a hotel.
A hot tub on day 2 and 4: 235 € /hot tub.
Sauna on request.
Fishing during lunch time.
A moose safari and/or bird watching in the evenings, barbecue, badminton, archery, pea-shooter, visit a husky kennel...
